*Job Overview* Elk Holdings Ltd is seeking an experienced individual to fill the role as a Log Loader Operator for long term employment. Role would be centered around loading and unloading Logging Trucks. Other activities that may be required could involve general labour tasks. We are looking for applicants with knowledge of loader operations and maintenance. The successful candidates will work in the field and be responsible to support the Company?s safety, quality, and environmental programs, in the execution of the work. Salary based on experience. This position is based out of the Edson/Hinton Area staying in camp for the duration of your shift. *Responsibilities* *and Qualifications:* * Must have a minimum 1 - 3 years experience as a Loader Operator in a high volume and demanding logging environment * Valid Class 5 Drivers License * Physically Fit * Team player but also possess the ability to work alone. * High level of integrity and work ethic. * Strong attention to detail. * Written and Oral communication skills in English. * Excellent time management and organization skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities. * Ability to document tasks. * Current Standard First Aid Certification is considered an asset. * Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. * Assist management by checking trucks and paperwork for reporting discrepancies. * Clean drivers abstract Join us as a Loader Operator and be part of a team that values hard work, dedication, and safety! Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Schedule: * Day shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Overtime * Weekends as needed Experience: * Logging Loader operation: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: * Class 5 Licence (required) Work Location: In person- LocationDrayton Valley, AB
