ECE Assistant Requirements First Aid certification Able to provide an up to date immunization record as per new Ministry requirements, a clear health and vulnerable sector police check as a condition of employment. *Responsibilities:* * Work with the child care ?team? to ensure that the programs are in accordance with the Ministry of Education Early Years Act and the County of Simcoe quality Assurance. * Work any shift as required ? to be discussed during the interview * Develop and implement with your ?team? individual and group curriculums school age children incorporating the ELECT and HDLH Framework * Ensure that the Program Philosophy and Behaviour Guidance Policies of the Centre is upheld * Ability to successfully carry out administrative duties as required * Possess the skills and interest towards successfully providing enrichment activities, recreational activities, sports and active games for the Kindergarten and School Age children * Excellent command of the English language (both oral and written); highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to co-operate, follow instructions and make difficult decisions; ability to deal with conflict * Comfortable in a Team environment that is fast paced and very creative * Must be responsive to family and staff needs; have strong problem solving skills; ability to evaluate and ensure that staff develop a program that is consistent with the Centre philosophy * Demonstrated ability to work with families in complex situations and from a variety of cultures * Skills and interests in creative art, drama, music, science, literacy and numeracy programs * A genuine love and commitment towards the Early Childhood Profession and working with young children If you are a dynamic, caring, self-motivated and flexible individual who is seeking a fulfilling and interesting position in a warm and professional environment, please forward your *resume and cover letter *to: Danielle Gladney Open Arms ECC is an equal opportunity employer.
