*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations by assisting pharmacists in providing high-quality patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, particularly within a retail pharmacy setting. *Duties* * Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients. * Maintain accurate patient records and medication inventory. * Provide support in medication administration under the supervision of licensed pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. * Answer patient inquiries regarding medications and health products, ensuring excellent customer service. * Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and medication management. * Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the pharmacy area, adhering to safety protocols. * Stay updated on pharmaceutical regulations and best practices to enhance service delivery. * Perform customer service duties such as cash register and answering phone calls with courtesy and respect. *Requirements* * Previous experience in pharmacy is required. * Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy operations is essential. * Strong communication skills with a focus on patient care and customer service. * Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple tasks efficiently. * Familiarity with medication administration processes is an advantage. * High attention to detail and organizational skills are required for maintaining accurate records.
