As a Project Manager you will oversee and manage all aspects of commercial building projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating and managing teams, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
· Coordinate and collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
· Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
· Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting.
· Manage project, ensuring adherence to Parkwest Projects project delivery model.
· Conduct regular site visits to assess construction progress.
· Communicate and problem solve with Site Superintendent.
· Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns.
· Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills
· Red Seal Endorsed Carpenter with extensive commercial construction experience.
· Post secondary diploma or degree in engineering technology, construction management, or equivalent.
· Three to five years? project management experience in industrial, commercial, and institutional construction.
· In-depth understanding of commercial construction processes and methodologies.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
· Proficiency in using computer applications, project management software, and estimating software.
· Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Legally eligible to work in Canada, holding a valid drivers license.
