We have a part time position available that requires attention to detail, a friendly attitude and is both physically demanding and dynamic on a daily basis. - Providing excellent customer service by greeting and interacting with customers both in person and on the phone. - Processing pawns, sales, redemptions and extensions electronically - Coming to jointly satisfactory terms regarding items to be purchased or pawned - Performing opening and closing store procedures -Customer service - Adhering to all company policies, procedures and regulations Specific Skills *Operate cash register * Operate computerized inventory record keeping system *Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and pick up dates * Provide advice about merchandise *Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce * Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase *Prepare merchandise for purchase * Prepare sales, contracts and accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payment *Assist in display of merchandise* Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: From $17.20 per hour Expected hours: 16 ? 30 per week Benefits: * On-site parking * Store discount Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: * Owen Sound, ON N4K 2H3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Education: * Secondary School (required) Experience: * Customer service: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationOwen Sound, ON
