*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing welding tasks in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to industry standards. This position requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members. The Welder will also have opportunities to educate others in the classroom setting, sharing knowledge and techniques with less experienced staff.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform various types of welding processes including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on different materials.
* Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding techniques.
* Ensure all welds meet quality standards and specifications through thorough inspection.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
* Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining safety protocols.
* Educate and train junior welders in classroom settings, sharing best practices and techniques.
* Troubleshoot welding issues and perform necessary repairs on equipment as needed.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as a Welder or in a similar role within the manufacturing or construction industry.
* Strong understanding of welding techniques, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance.
* Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
* Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and for educating others.
* Certification in welding from an accredited institution is preferred but not mandatory.
* Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials as required.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $33.65-$35.87 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
