*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Regulated Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to patients. You will work closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals in a community setting, contributing to patient care and supporting the overall pharmacy operations. *Responsibilities* * Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. * Maintain patient records and ensure that all medication orders are processed correctly. * Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications. * Manage inventory levels, including ordering, restocking, and disposing of expired medications. * Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards of practice. * Educate patients on medication usage and proper administration techniques. * Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes through effective medication management. *Skills* * Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team. * Proficiency in medication administration processes to ensure patient safety and adherence to protocols. * Strong attention to detail to minimize errors in medication dispensing and record keeping. * Excellent interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
