*Overview* We are seeking an experienced Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Some knowledge of sake is a bonus! Pay based on experience! *Responsibilities* * Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. * Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and delivering beverages promptly. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed. * Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol service regulations. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders when necessary. * Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene when necessary to ensure responsible drinking practices. * *Skills* * Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. * Experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred. * Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. * Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. * Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $17.20 per hour Expected hours: 20 ? 30 per week Schedule: * Evening shift Experience: * serving: 1 year (preferred) * Bartending: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Smart Serve (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationOttawa, ON
