*Job Overview*
Serroul CPA is seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant (Part-Time). This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities and communication within the organization or with clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, be proficient in various office technologies, and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.
This position would be suitable for both an administrative background and/or an accounting background, with personal skills.
This role will be expected to work 21-hours per week during the days of M-F. Days and hours worked combination is negotiable. (For example ~4 hours per day x 5 days; or 7 hours x 3 days). A fixed schedule will take into consideration candidates feedback of their availability.
*Duties*
* Manage and maintain the executive's calendar, including scheduling meetings and appointments.
* Answer and direct phone calls, ensuring excellent customer service at the front desk.
* Prepare and organize documents for meetings, including proofreading materials for accuracy.
* Maintain filing systems for both physical and electronic documents to ensure easy retrieval of information.
* Utilize electronic software for document management and electronic signatures.
* Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks, including invoicing and expense tracking both for the firm and for clients.
* Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries for executive as needed.
* Support various administrative tasks such as typing correspondence, preparing reports, and other activities as directed.
* Other tasks as assigned.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, and Excel.
* Familiarity with phone systems and front desk operations.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Excellent proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Experience with QuickBooks and tax software, or ability to independently learn.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* The firm operates generally in a paperless manner and the candidate must be technically inclined.

Pay: $34,000.00-$39,000.00 per year
