*Job Summary* We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to operate heavy equipment as needed. The Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. *Responsibilities* * Safely operate delivery vehicles, including trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations. * Load and unload products, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport. * Perform routine inspections of delivery vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and obtaining signatures upon delivery. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. * Operate heavy equipment as required, including forklifts for loading and unloading freight. * Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. * Assist in basic automotive repair tasks when necessary to ensure vehicle reliability. *Experience* * Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred, with a valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle class being operated. * Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, particularly forklifts, is highly desirable. * Experience in freight handling or logistics is a plus. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks. * Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
