Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain work records and logs. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment. Interac with bees based on your knowledge of their biology, behaviour, ecology and caste system. Supervision: 3-4 people. Apiary and honey harvesting experience: Apiary management. Honey farm. Equipment and machinery experience: Tractor. Forklift. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Personal suitability: Team player.
