May Theatres is a family owned and operated movie chain based in Western Canada that has been involved in the industry for over 75 years. We are searching for a part-time assistant manager in our Wainwright, Alberta location. Duties include but are not limited to the following; *Managing on-shift staff* -organizing duties and assisting with daily tasks *Daily Reporting* -ensure night deposits are made and accurate -count inventory and manage the locations stock *Projectionist* *Duties* -upload movies onto our projection system -make sure the movie is playing on the screen in good quality -load the correct trailers before each movie -ensure the sound levels are acceptable for the movie playing *Create a memorable experience for our customers* -ensure a positive experience for our customer base -create reasons for customers to return to the theatre Weekend and night work is required for this position. _*This position would mostly consist of working Sundays.*_ Experience managing employees is an asset . _*We will provide comprehensive training.*_ Important traits for the right candidate would be; -self-motivated -professional -respectful Skills that would be applicable to this job would be; -general computer knowledge -cash handling experience -past managerial experience would be an asset If you are looking to join this fast paced industry or have a love of movies this may be the perfect position for you!
