Seeking a well-motivated, responsible employee with experience in sports and recreation facilities. *MUST be available on week nights/evenings and weekends. Our facility can operate on a 24/7 basis. Part-time/casual hours to be expected (roughly 3-4 shifts per week). We rely on our staff having a flexible schedule to cover last minute rentals, shifts, etc.. Access to a vehicle considered an asset.* Duties and responsibilities include: - Supervision of the facility. Indoor turf fields, indoor volleyball courts and basketball courts. - Preparing the facility for exceptional provision of services. - Excellent Customer Service. - Opening and closing facility. - Understanding dome operations. - Regular maintenance of facility (removing garbage, grooming field, various cleaning duties, etc...) - Operating company software; completing bookings and rentals. - Processing payments, petty cash handling, payment reconciliation. - Various other duties as assigned. Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: From $18.00 per day Benefits: * On-site parking Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Holidays * Monday to Friday * Night shift * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person (5300 14th Ave. Markham - Markham Sports Dome) *Qualifications* * Proven experience in cleaning and customer service * Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance practices * Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks * Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness * Excellent time management and organizational skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in facility management Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40 per week Benefits: * On-site parking * Store discount Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * Night shift * On call * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person- LocationMarkham, ON
