St. Albert Public Schools is currently recruiting a Part Time, Temporary, Educational Assistant 2 for work assignment at Preschool. <p>More than 9000 students are enrolled in St. Albert Public Schools. From Preschool to Grade 12, our students learn and succeed in programs that are recognized for excellence and their focus on citizenship and sound values. Hours of Work: 22.00 hrs. /week; 5.5 hrs. /day; Tuesday-Friday; Part Time, Temporary<p> Hourly Rate: $22.92 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement <p>Specific Needs/Requirements for this position: <p> Formal training from MacEwan University or equivalent preferred<p> Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training is an asset<p> Experience working with children with diverse behavior needs an asset<p> Experience in the use of visual supports and/or PECS an asset<p> Experience working with children at the early childhood level an asset<p> Experience working within a team, collaborative environment an asset Applications, either written or electronic, must include documentation which describes: <p> Highest level of formal education<p> Professional certificates, trade certificates, etc.<p> Courses, seminars, and specialized training<p> Experience related to the position<p> Other skills and abilities applicable to the position In accordance with the CUPE Collective Agreement, this position offers a comprehensive benefits package found under Alberta School Employee Benefit Plan. <p> All completed applications received by the deadline will be considered. <p> However, only short listed candidates will be contacted. <p> All new employees to St. Albert Public Schools are required to submit a recent (within 6 months), <p> clear Vulnerable/Criminal Record Check prior to commencement of employment.- LocationSt. Albert, AB
