We take pride in our accountability, expertise, and ability to deliver high-quality technical projects.</p><p><strong>About the Role:</strong><br />We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Design Consultant to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. This contract role offers flexibility to plan and complete your work around your schedule, provided deadlines are met.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Create detailed engineering drawings independently, using provided templates and adhering to project specifications.</li><li>Collaborate with a senior electrical engineer for technical guidance and direction.</li><li>Manage workload effectively to meet project timelines in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Mandatory</strong>: Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required; 3D modeling is an asset).</li><li><strong>Preferred</strong>: Industry experience in the oil and gas sector.</li><li>Legally incorporated in Canada with valid WCB coverage.</li></ul><p><strong>Why Join HART Engineering?</strong></p><ul><li>Flexible hours: Work when it suits you, as long as deliverables are met.</li><li>Remote work: Complete tasks from wherever you're most productive.</li><li>Supportive environment: Access to expert guidance and well-prepared templates to set you up for success.</li></ul><p> </p><p>The candidate will be expected to work remotely and should have experience with Microsoft Office software. Remote work requires successful communication and we use email, Microsoft Teams and phone as the primary means. </p><p>The contract rate will be based on relevant experience and competitive within the industry.</p><p>HART is looking for a contract designer that meets the following criteria:</p><ul><li>Conduct design and technical drawing activities with respect to client requirements, meeting technical standards;</li><li>Prepare advanced drawings using the newest version of AutoCAD;</li><li>Update drawings from mark-ups and red lines;</li><li>Ensure adherence to applicable standards, policies, and procedures;</li></ul><p>We are looking for individuals experienced in detailing the following types drawings:</p><ul><li>site plans,</li><li>single line diagrams,</li><li>motor schematics,</li><li>hazardous area classification drawings</li><li>cable schedules,</li><li>heat tracing</li><li>AC/DC wiring schematics</li><li>PLC</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p></div></div>- LocationCalgary, AB
