Starting pay is a base salary of $45,000 with commissions ranging from $25,000-$60,000 per year but there is no cap.
*Overview*
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our market presence in the medical and healthcare sector. You will engage with clients to understand their needs, explain and promote our products and services, and build long-lasting relationships. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and business development, with the ability to analyze market trends and customer feedback to enhance our sales strategies. A primary focus on sales will be with Cities, Municipalities and Government funded sites throughout North America. We provide individual workspaces within our office, and everything that is required to excel at this sales opportunity. A vehicle is provided throughout the day when cold calling or visits are necessary. Candidates would leave the office to visit potential customers on the road while ending the day at the office. On road expectations would be 1 to 3 days per week when the focus on new sales is within ~200 km range of our Barrie office.
*Responsibilities*
* Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients through outside sales efforts.
* Utilize an internal system to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data effectively.
* Conduct market research to identify potential customers and make contact to discuss our product and services.
* Present product demonstrations and technical information to clients, showcasing how our solutions can meet their requirements.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns that resonate with potential customers.
* Attend occasional events and trade shows to network and promote our products.
* Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform product development.
* Communicate effectively in English. Additional languages could help open markets.
*Experience*
* Proven experience in sales, particularly in medical or service oriented environments.
* Strong understanding of business development principles and strategies.
* Familiarity with CRM tools for managing customer relationships and analyzing sales performance.
* Ability to analyze market data and trends to inform sales strategies effectively.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients at all levels of an organization.
* Experience in outside sales, researching leads and initiating first contact.
* Bilingual candidates (French/Spanish) could increase potential but not required.
* English speaking, writing and understanding is a deal breaker.
