*Job Title*: Warehouse Supervisor
*Job Overview*:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented *Warehouse Supervisor* to oversee key operational functions, including pricing, inventory management, file maintenance, and promotional setup. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing stock levels, ensuring accurate product placement, and driving seamless coordination with the buying team to support efficient inventory flow. Additionally, the role requires proactive planning for seasonal sales adjustments and shelf lineup reviews to maintain optimal holding power and maximize profitability.
*Key Responsibilities*:
* *Pricing and File Maintenance*:
* Ensure accurate pricing updates and compliance with company standards.
* Maintain organized and up-to-date product files, labels, and records in inventory systems.
* Ensuring new product is properly set up in our system and pricing attached when on the floor
* *Stocking and Inventory Management*:
* Monitor stock levels to ensure adequate supply and minimize overstock or stockouts.
* Oversee the stocking process, ensuring timely replenishment and organization of inventory.
* Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy and identify discrepancies.
* *Promotional Merchandising*:
* Develop and implement weekly and seasonal promotional merchandising plans.
* Set up promotional displays, ensuring alignment with marketing campaigns and buyer goals.
* Collaborate with teams to execute seasonal plans efficiently and on schedule.
* *Collaboration with Buying Team*:
* Conduct weekly meetings with the buying team to plan and manage inventory flow to the sales floor.
* Provide insights into stock performance, promotional outcomes, and seasonal trends.
* *Seasonal and Holding Power Adjustments*:
* Perform monthly and quarterly shelf lineup reviews to optimize layout based on sales data and seasonal demands.
* Adjust product placement to maximize shelf holding power and align with consumer purchasing patterns.
* *Team Leadership and Training*:
* Lead and train warehouse staff to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
* Foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and accountability among team members.
*Qualifications*:
* Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or related roles.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
* Proficiency in inventory software and file maintenance systems.
* Ability to analyze sales data and make data-driven decisions.
* Knowledge of seasonal merchandising and promotional planning.
*Preferred Skills*:
* Experience in retail or distribution environments.
* Familiarity with merchandising trends and consumer behavior.
* Leadership experience with a track record of managing teams effectively.
*Work Environment*:
* Fast-paced warehouse environment with frequent standing, lifting, and moving of merchandise.
* Occasional extended hours during peak seasons or promotional campaigns.
