<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>We have an immediate opening for a skilled Red Seal Endorsed Sprinkler Fitter. We are looking for someone who wants to get away from the big city and the high cost of living that goes with it. The average cost of a home in Vancouver is 2.5 - 3 times the average cost of a home in Prince George! Prince George offers easy access to outdoor activities and there is very little traffic to deal with. We are looking for someone qualified to our standards who is interested in making the shift. We would have you work based out of PG on a trial basis coming up for turnarounds and if both parties would like to move forward after the trial you would be offered a permanent position to move to.</p><p> </p><p>You will be responsible for installation, maintenance and repairs to sprinkler systems. We work with both industrial and commercial clients, so you must be familiar with both settings. You will be expected to submit completed documentation to the office such as test certificates and as-built drawings. Our ideal candidate has at least 5 years of professional experience. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Sprinkler Fitter Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>Review project to understand scope and timeline</li><li>Make a detailed material take-off for a job.</li><li>Install sprinkler systems to the highest standard of quality. Your work must not only be good, it must look good.</li><li>Be highly familiar with grooved, threaded and flanged joints.</li><li>Perform hydrostatic testing on systems.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Sprinkler Fitter Requirements and Qualifications</strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Completion of apprenticeship.</li><li>Red Seal endorsement.</li><li>Proficient with manual and power tools.</li><li>Attention to detail.
