Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Work in employer's/client's home. Employer's home. Tasks: Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene. Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk. Feed or assist in feeding. Launder clothing and household linens. Plan therapeutic diets and menus. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Support for persons with disabilities: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for persons with disabilities . Support for newcomers and refugees: Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees .
