*Overview* We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in maintaining and repairing heavy machinery. This role is essential for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment, which includes various types of industrial machinery and vehicles. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other team members to ensure all equipment operates at peak performance. *Duties* * Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, forklifts, trucks & highway tractors. * Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals to identify problems accurately. * Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to assemble, disassemble, and repair machinery components. * Conduct inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency. * Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts used for inventory management. * Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and implement effective solutions. * Stay updated on the latest industry practices and technologies related to heavy equipment maintenance. *Skills* * Licensed 310T Mechanic * Proficient in heavy equipment operation with hands-on experience in the field. * Familiarity with industrial equipment repair techniques and safety protocols. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics. * Experience using various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment. * Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
