Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Service Manager to lead our diverse service team of furnace repair technicians, electricians, and plumbers. The Service Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery across multiple disciplines. This role requires a dynamic leader with technical expertise, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for customer satisfaction to uphold our reputation as Alberta?s most trusted home comfort company. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Team Development ? Lead and inspire a team of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing technicians to deliver high-quality service. ? Recruit, train, and retain top talent, ensuring the team is equipped with the skills and tools needed to succeed. ? Create and implement performance standards, providing regular feedback and coaching to drive continuous improvement. ? Foster a collaborative and safety-focused work environment that encourages professional growth and accountability. Service Operations Management ? Monitor job progress to ensure timely and high-quality completion of service requests. ? Maintain and manage inventory for all service teams, ensuring availability of necessary parts, tools, and equipment. ? Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations. Customer Service Excellence ? Act as a point of escalation for complex or unresolved customer issues across HVAC repair, electrical, and plumbing services. ? Oversee service quality and ensure all interactions align with the company?s commitment to customer service excellence. ? Implement strategies to gather and act on customer feedback to continuously improve service delivery. Financial and Strategic Oversight ? Collaborate with management to manage budgets for the service department, monitoring costs and identifying areas for efficiency improvements. ? Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team productivity and operational success. ? Collaborate with senior leadership to align service operations with broader business objectives and growth strategies. ? Identify opportunities to expand service offerings and improve operational processes. Compliance and Safety ? Ensure all service activities adhere to workplace safety standards and company policies. ? Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to maintain a culture of safety. ? Stay informed of changes in industry regulations and standards, implementing updates as necessary. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing services, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing multidisciplinary teams. Education/Certification: Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Journeyman HVAC, Electrician, or Plumber). Management training is an asset. Requirements: ?
