*Overview* We are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental team (New graduate or experienced). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dental office environment. *Duties* * Conduct regular hygienist duties, dental cleanings (scaling and polishing). * Perform oral health assessments and take digital x-rays. * Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care. * Apply preventative measures, fluoride treatments and sealants. * Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans. * Perform periodontal charting and document odontograms. * Collaborate with the dentist on treatment plans and patient care. * Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment and keep regulatory records. *Qualifications* * New graduates or experienced. * Valid Ontario license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. * Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. * A commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and safety protocols.
