*We are Spark & Sound Health!* *Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality acupuncture treatments to patients, focusing on their individual health needs and wellness goals. This role requires a deep understanding of medical terminology and patient care, as well as the ability to work effectively within a hospital or clinical setting. *Duties* * Conduct thorough assessments of patients? health conditions and medical histories. * Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals. * Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile needles in accordance with safety protocols. * Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. * Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and complementary therapies. * Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. * Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. * Stay updated on advancements in acupuncture techniques and practices. *Qualifications* * Must be a licensed Registered and in good standing with The College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario. * Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care principles. * Experience working in a hospital or clinical environment is preferred but not required. * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality care. * Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
