Your responsibilities will include greeting customers, assessing issues, providing cost estimates, and coordinating service appointments. If you have strong communication skills, automotive or powersports knowledge, and a passion for ensuring customer satisfaction, this role presents a fantastic opportunity to excel in the powersports service industry.Hourly Wage Range: $19.15 ? $22.45 Plus Performance BonusResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Determine service issues by listening to customers' descriptions of symptoms and clarifying descriptions of problemsVerify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusionsDevelop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and laborPrepare repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services requiredMaintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle; obtaining customer's approval of estimates and answering questions and concernsMaintain service records by recording problems and corrective actions plannedUpdate job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' publicationsEnhance the store's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishmentsRequirements:Previous experience in a customer service role is considered an asset Strong interpersonal skills: a good listener who can cultivate relationshipsExcellent communication skillsAbility to work in a team-driven environmentGood organization and learning skillsValid driver's license with acceptable driver's abstractWhy Steele Auto?Competitive compensation package, with annual wage reviewFlexible Health and Dental Plans, 6 different cost shared options to meet everyone's needsEnhanced Benefits including Telehealth, Mental Health Support and EFAPRetirement Savings Plan with employer match up to 4%, after 5 years up to 5%Opportunities for career growth and advancementEmployee discounts on vehicle purchasing, parts, and service at any of our locationsA safe, inclusive, and dynamic work environmentWe sincerely thank our applicants interested in this opportunity and wish to advise that only candidates invited for an interview will be contacted.
