Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Journeyman Insulator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing insulation solutions to support our projects. This position offers a chance to work on diverse and challenging projects, using your expertise to meet and exceed client expectations. Responsibilities: - Install and remove insulation materials on pipes, ducts, tanks, and other surfaces for thermal and acoustic purposes. - Measure, cut, and fit insulation materials to precise specifications. - Apply protective coverings (e.g., metal, plastic, or sealants) to insulation. - Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and job instructions. - Inspect completed work for quality assurance and compliance with standards. - Follow all safety regulations and protocols on-site. - Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors and project managers. Requirements: -Valid Journeyman Insulator certification (required). - Proven experience in industrial or commercial insulation. - Strong understanding of insulation materials, tools, and methods. - Ability to read blueprints and specifications. - Knowledge of occupational safety standards (e.g., WHMIS, OSHA). - Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying conditions, including heights and confined spaces. - Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.
