*Opportunity* We?re looking for passionate and dedicated Dog Handlers to join our team full-time. In this role, you?ll ensure our dogs spend plenty of time outdoors, enjoying playgroups and exercise throughout the day. You?ll also assist senior handlers with training and rehabilitation. This physically demanding position requires you to be on your feet all day, in all weather conditions, while working closely with a team to provide the best care for our dogs. *?????About Dog Tales Rescue & Sanctuary* Dog Tales is a world-renowned dog rescue and horse sanctuary set on an incredible 50 acres of green fields, rolling hills, and wooded areas in King City, Ontario. Our picturesque location - complete with kilometers of walking trails, therapy pools, and a grooming spa - is the perfect setting for abused and neglected animals to heal and be rehabilitated while they wait for forever homes. Along with medical care, our team provides all of the love, attention and training that our rescue animals need to recover from their difficult pasts, so that they can move on to permanent, loving homes, which most do. Your responsibilities will include: - Ensuring dogs are out of their rooms and enjoying outdoor time each day. - Assisting with afternoon playgroups and interacting with the dogs to ensure they are active and well-cared for. - Supporting senior handlers with dog training and rehabilitation. - Maintaining a positive and productive environment for the dogs and the team. - Working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to varying weather conditions. *What You Bring* _We understand that the "ideal candidate" doesn?t exist, so even if you don?t check every box, we encourage you to apply.
