Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Business/commerce, general. Marketing/marketing management, general. or equivalent experience. Asset languages: Chinese. Work setting: Retail business. Tasks: Study market reports, trade periodicals and sales promotion materials. Establish and maintain contact with suppliers. Negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms and transportation arrangements with suppliers. Oversee distribution of merchandise to outlets. Provide customer service. Review requirements of establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase. Select and purchase merchandise for resale. Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories and product design events. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Attention to detail.
