Priority Logistics Inc. is an asset based intermodal service provider with offices across Canada. We offer Intermodal and over the road LTL/TL service from all the points within Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Quebec. *Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator who have motivation and drive to join our team. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating and managing industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries while ensuring efficiency and safety. *Duties and Responsibilities:* * *Load and unload trailers / containers* * *Ability to stack pallets safely (light vs heavy product)* * *Ability to load shipments securely for both Rail and Road services* * *Must have basic knowledge of computer systems, training will be provided on how to use our software.* * *Ability to read and understand loading and unloading documents* * *Knowledge of weights and loading requirements.* * *Perform routine pre and post-inspections on forklift equipment* * *Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures* * *Maintain a clean and safe work environment* *Skills* * *Proven experience as a forklift operator* * *Valid certification to operate forklifts* * *Excellent hand-eye coordination* * *Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations* * *Ability to work in a fast-paced environment* * *Attention to detail and accuracy* * *Truck mate experience is an asset* * *Show initiative with ability to learn quickly, and work with minimal supervision.* * *Willingness to adapt and adjust, strong multi-task skills and shows an ability to work in a fast-paced environment when required.* * *Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to prioritise* * *Strives to be a highly efficient team player with a positive personality* * *Working knowledge of all North American transportation services; LTL, TL, Intermodal and highway transportation modes.* * *Intermodal experience* * *Excellent command of English (both written and verbal)* * *Working knowledge of TMW/Truckmate is an asset* * *Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)* *We thank all candidates for their interest; however only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.* Job Type: Full-time Pay: Starting $22.00 per hour Benefits: * Extended health care Schedule: * Multiple start times, please advise your preference for AM or PM shift Work Location: In person Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking Schedule: to be discussed, some weekends are required (Saturdays) Experience: * logistics: 2 year (preferred) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking * Vision care Experience: * Forklift: 3 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Forklift Licence (preferred) Work Location: In person
