DEPARTMENT: Surgical SuiteBARGAINING UNIT: Management and Non-BargainingJOB TYPE: Permanent full-timeSCHEDULE: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Rotation, Other, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Bilingual essentialNOTE: Applicants must attach a resume to their application.JOB SUMMARY:The incumbent is responsible for the logistics and the supply process for the surgical suite medical/surgical supplies and equipment. REQUIREMENTS:Undergraduate degree in administration or in a health sciences field or the equivalent;Any combination of training and experience deemed relevant and equivalent may be considered;Knowledge of surgical procedures as well as supplies and equipment;Proven ability to organize and manage workload;Good skills using Word and Excel software, other programs and the Meditech system;Ability to work independently and as a team member;Physically able to perform assigned duties;Good previous work history (performance and attendance);Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.Written and spoken competence in French and spoken competence in English are required.NOTE:Position to be reviewed by the Part III Classification Committee.The above requirements may be verified through oral, written or practical tests during the selection process.Should there be no fully qualified applicants, this position will not necessarily be reposted.
