*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our growing business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling steel and aluminum components to create high-quality products. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work from drawings and schematics. The Welder/Fitter will play a crucial role in ensuring that all welding and fitting tasks meet industry standards and specifications. *Duties* * Read and interpret drawings and schematics to determine project specifications * Efficiently plan, fabricate, assemble, and weld both steel and aluminum components according to design requirements * Utilize hand tools and welding equipment to perform tasks efficiently * Operate forklifts for material handling when required * Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols * Inspect finished products for quality assurance before delivery or installation *Skills* * Proficient in steel and aluminum welding techniques and processes * Strong ability to read and understand drawings and schematics * Strong focus on shop safety * Experience with industry tools used in fabrication and assembly * Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus * Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a high production environment * Excellent communication, attitude and ability to follow direction *Qualifications* * Ability to weld per MCAW and FCAW practices * Pre-test in both steel and aluminum required * 3+ years in fitting/welding preferred Join us as a Welder/Fitter, where your skills will contribute significantly to our production capabilities while ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
