Responsibilities - Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing customer inquiries. - Utilize bartending skills to prepare and serve drinks according to customer preferences and company standards. - Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food preparation, handling, and serving. - Operate POS systems efficiently to process orders and payments accurately. - Demonstrate time management skills to prioritize tasks and maintain a smooth flow of service. - Handle cash transactions and maintain cash handling procedures in accordance with company policies. Qualifications - Customer service experience - Bartending or serving experience - Knowledge of food safety protocols - Proficiency in POS systems - Previous restaurant experience preferred - Strong time management skills - Ability to handle cash transactions - Basic math skills essential - Hospitality background a plus - Familiarity with Micros POS system a bonus Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $17.20 per hour Expected hours: 15 ? 30 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay * Tips Benefits: * Company events * Dental care * Discounted or free food * Extended health care * On-site parking * Store discount * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Experience: * serving: 1 year (preferred) * Bartending: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Smart Serve (required) Work Location: In person- LocationGuelph, ON
