*What You?ll Do*
As a Human Resources Manager, you?ll play a vital role in the development, implementation, and management of HR functions. Your responsibilities will include:
* Designing and implementing policies and procedures to support the organization?s HR strategy.
* Administering and coordinating employee training programs.
* Leading full-cycle recruitment, including posting job openings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, presenting offers, and facilitating new hire orientations.
* Ensuring all health and safety incidents are investigated, documented, and resolved.
* Co-chairing Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) meetings and maintaining meeting records.
* Overseeing benefits administration, including health benefits, company events, and employee recognition programs.
* Managing the company?s attendance program and supporting return-to-work processes for occupational and non-occupational absences.
* Supporting the performance management program to ensure leaders have resources to provide feedback and employees feel supported in their roles.
* Conducting workplace investigations with professionalism and confidentiality.
* Advising management on progressive discipline policies to ensure fairness and consistency.
* Overseeing leave of absences, long-term disability, and WSIB claims.
* Maintaining employee records securely and ensuring compliance with legal retention periods.
* Staying up to date with legislation to ensure compliance across all HR practices.
* Building strong, collaborative relationships with employees and management to foster trust and engagement.
* Promoting ethical practices within the company.
* Performing additional duties as needed to support organizational success.
*What We?re Looking For*
* A post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong decision-making and evidence-based recommendation skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization.
* Proven conflict resolution and negotiation abilities.
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe programs.
* A highly motivated, team-oriented approach.
* Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
* The ability to prioritize and perform well under pressure.
* Experience with Cultural Index considered an asset.
