Position #: 201231 Expected Start Date: December 30, 2024 Union: HSAS Facility: Royal University Hospital City/Town: Saskatoon Department: Clinical Nutrition Type: Part-time temporary Expected Up to Date: August 05, 2025 FTE: 0.75 Shift Information: Days, Weekends Hours of Work: 12 shifts of 7 hours per 3 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Dietitian - Degree $36.171 to $44.230 Travel Required: No Job Description: Under the direction of the manager Interprofessional Practice, the Dietitian is responsible for managing the nutrition care of patients. This includes nutritional assessment, development and implementation of nutrition care plans, diet counselling, evaluation of care and arrangement for follow-up care. The incumbent acts as a nutrition consultant to other members of the health care team, shares department responsibilities and provides education experiences for dietetic interns. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- Preference to those with experience with acute care patients in hospital setting- Preference given to candidates with Clinical Dietitian experienceEducation- Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (BSc(Nutr))- Dietetic Internship certificate- Registered/eligible for registration with the Dietitians of Canada (DC)- Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Dietitians Association (SDA)Other Information- The caseload for this position will include adult acute care.- Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement- For more information on the city of Saskatoon please visit https://www.saskatoon.ca/- Experience as a staff dietitian is preferred.- Experience in nutrition support will be considered an asset.- Acute care adult and pediatric clinical nutrition experience is preferred.- This position works weekends on a rotation basis.- HSAS...For more information on this job, please visit the employer's website.- LocationSaskatoon, SK
