Position #: 117058 Expected Start Date: December 09, 2024 Union: HSAS Facility: Royal University Hospital City/Town: Saskatoon Department: Clinical Nutrition Type: Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date: June 30, 2025 FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days, Standby Hours of Work: 14 shifts of 8 hours per 3 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Dietitian - Degree $36.171 to $44.230 Travel Required: No Job Description: Under the direction of the Manager of Clinical Nutrition Services, the Dietitian is responsible for managing the nutrition care of patients. This includes nutritional assessment, development and implementation of nutrition care plans, diet counselling, evaluation of care and arrangement for follow-up care. The incumbent acts as a nutrition consultant to other members of the health care team, shares department responsibilities and provides education experiences for nutrition students. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- Preference given to candidates with Clinical Dietitian experience- Preference to those with experience with acute care patients in hospital settingEducation- Dietetic Internship certificate- Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (BSc(Nutr))- Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Dietitians Association (SDA)- Registered/eligible for registration with the Dietitians of Canada (DC)Other Information- Experience as a staff dietitian is preferred.- For more information on the city of Saskatoon please visit https://www.saskatoon.ca/- HSAS seniority in the SHA will be considered under the selection criteria- Working Monday to Friday 0800-1630.- The caseload for this position will include adult acute care.- Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement- Acute care adult clinical nutrition experience is preferred.- Experience in nutri...For more information on this job, please visit the employer's website.- LocationSaskatoon, SK
