*Job Overview: Commercial Refrigeration HVAC Technician* Electrofrost Inc. is seeking a skilled *Commercial Refrigeration HVAC Technician* to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing advanced *commercial refrigeration systems* to ensure optimal performance and efficiency for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, specialized knowledge in refrigeration systems, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to businesses across various industries. *Responsibilities* * Install, maintain, and repair *commercial refrigeration systems*, including walk-in coolers, freezers, display coolers, blast chillers, and refrigeration control systems. * Diagnose and troubleshoot *commercial refrigeration system malfunctions* using schematics and technical expertise. * Conduct routine maintenance on refrigeration systems to maximize efficiency and reduce downtime. * Repair or replace defective components, including plumbing and electrical systems associated with refrigeration units. * Perform system performance tests to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. * Collaborate on the installation of *IoT solutions for refrigeration* and energy-efficient systems. * Provide excellent customer service, communicating effectively with clients about their refrigeration needs and solutions. * Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed, including service records and material usage. *Requirements* * Proven experience as a technician specializing in *commercial refrigeration systems* or a similar role is preferred. * Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and control diagrams. * Familiarity with advanced refrigeration technologies, including smart systems and energy-efficient solutions. * Ability to plumb, build, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of commercial refrigeration equipment. * Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety. * Valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites. * Preferred certifications: *313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic*, *309A Electrician - Construction and Maintenance*, and *G2 Gas Technician*. *Why Join Electrofrost Inc.?* At Electrofrost, we are leaders in the commercial refrigeration industry, serving businesses in Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, and surrounding areas.
