Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs. Assist in demolishing buildings. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Weld or braze components. Prepare floors for installations. Prepare and install hardwood floors. Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets. Install door, window and other hardware. Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools. Equipment and machinery experience: Circular saws. Nail guns. Drills. Hand tools. Surface preparation experience: Drywall taping/patching. Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel. Willing to travel regularly. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Green job: Involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.
