*The Opportunity*
We?re searching for a *certified Music Therapist* to help us design, launch, and lead our new music therapy program. This is an extraordinary chance to:

*Your Role & Responsibilities*
* Design and conduct *individual and group music therapy sessions*, focusing on children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or neurodevelopmental disorders.
* Develop and document detailed session plans, notes, and assessments, ensuring alignment with best practices.
* Participate in program planning, evaluation, and *community outreach* to establish and expand the client base.
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and internal staff.
* Align the music therapy program with the broader goals of Cosmo Music?s School of Music.
*Session Details:*
* All sessions will take place on-site during daytime business hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM ? 4:00 PM.
*What We?re Looking For*
* *Education & Certification*:
* Bachelor?s or Master?s Degree in Music Therapy.
* Certified with the *Canadian Association for Music Therapy (CAMT)* or equivalent, with *MTA status*.
* *Experience & Expertise*:
* Experience with individual and group therapy, particularly with neurodiverse populations.
* Program development experience is a strong asset.
* *Other Requirements*:
* Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
* Vulnerable Sector Check.
*Preferred Skills & Characteristics*
* Certification in *Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT)* and/or *Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)*.
* Creative, flexible, and motivated to lead new initiatives.
* Exceptional musical proficiency across instruments and genres.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Organized, professional, and passionate about client care.
