Teach students for Grade 9-12 Science, Physics, Chemistry and Biology through lectures, discussions, audio-visual presentations and laboratory, shop and field studies, Evaluate the progress of students and discuss results with students, parents and school officials, Prepare, administer and correct tests, Prepare subject material for presentation according to an approved curriculum, Assign and correct homework. OCT holder Science teacher for in-person teaching. Must be able to teach Grade 9-12 Science subjects (SCH4U, SPH4U, SBI4U). 2 Years High School teaching experience, and experience with online teaching is preferred. * *Must have Ontario College of Teacher license* * Must have knowledge of Ministry Curriculum Guidelines * Prepare subject material for presentation according to an approved curriculum, Assign, and correct homework. * Skills of motivating quality learning and resources in a current rapidly changing learning environment * Must possess great communication and thinking skills. * Evaluate student assignments, projects, tests, and other forms of evaluation, and discuss results with students * Assess student progress on a regular basis and Provide motivating comments and constructive feedback to students on all work that is submitted * Maintain records of student evaluations and assessment * Ability to meet a tight deadline for marking & mark submission with a high level of accuracy. * Work well under pressure and in a fast, busy office setting. * Must familiar with Microsoft Teams Job Type: Full-time Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 25 per week Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday Education: * Bachelor's Degree (preferred) Experience: * Teaching: 2 years (required) Licence/Certification: * Ontario College of Teacher (OCT) license?
