Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Hot. Dusty. Extremely cold. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to plan methods or sequences of operation . Operate heavy equipment. Read blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks. Operate computer controlled equipment. Understand the purpose, proper usgage and information found on material safety data sheets (MSDS). Complete onboard and other logs. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Prepare accident reports. Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment. Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Type of heavy equipment operated: Backhoe excavator, loader. Bulldozer, large or small. Grader. Loader. Compactor. Bobcats. Equipment and machinery experience: Skidsteer. Area of work experience: Backfilling. Demolition. Excavation. Fine grading and finishing. Rough grading. Sub-grade excavating. Type of industry experience: Industrial/commercial/institutional (ICI) construction. Residential construction. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available.
