*Job Summary* We are seeking a versatile and highly skilled *B-Pressure Welder* with a *Red Seal Certification* to join our team. This position involves a mix of *fieldwork* and *shop fabrication* and requires expertise in *SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW welding processes*, as well as high-purity stainless steel piping systems for the *food & beverage* and *pharmaceutical industries*. The successful candidate will demonstrate adaptability, commitment to quality, and the ability to work across multiple divisions, including millwrighting and structural welding. *Key Responsibilities* * Perform *SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW welding* on carbon and stainless steel, ensuring compliance with industry standards. * Execute *high-purity stainless steel fuse welding* for food-grade and pharmaceutical-grade piping systems. * Complete a combination of *field and shop fabrication tasks* based on project requirements. * Support *general welding needs* across the millwrighting and structural divisions. * Perform *CWB-certified structural welding* on various materials. * Read and interpret *blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols* for accurate project execution. * Conduct *fitting, cutting, and preparation* of components for fabrication and installation. * Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces to ensure safety and cleanliness. * Follow site-specific safety protocols and participate in pre-job safety meetings. * Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. *Qualifications* *Required:* * *Red Seal Welding Certification*. * *B-Pressure Welding Certification* (Alberta recognized) with valid tickets for carbon and stainless steel. * Expertise in *SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW welding processes*. * Proven experience with *high-purity stainless steel fuse welding* for food-grade and pharmaceutical applications. * Familiarity with *ASME B31.3* and *B31.1* codes. * Ability to pass *pre-employment welding tests* to demonstrate quality. * Experience in *shop and field environments* with a flexible and adaptable approach. * Strong understanding of *X-ray and NDT requirements* for weld quality. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineered drawings. * Excellent *problem-solving skills* and attention to detail. *Preferred:* * *CWB Certification* for structural welding. * Experience with *millwrighting* or working on multidisciplinary projects. * Previous work in the *food & beverage* or *pharmaceutical industries*. * Knowledge of *cleanroom protocols* and sanitary standards. * Certifications in *orbital welding* or other advanced welding techniques. *Work Environment* * Combination of *fieldwork at various job sites* and *shop fabrication*. * Work may involve *confined spaces*, *heights*, or *high-purity environments*. * Strict adherence to *safety and cleanliness protocols* is required. *Why Join Us?* * Competitive compensation and benefits package. * Opportunities for career growth and skill development. * Collaborative and innovative work environment. * Engage in impactful projects across multiple industries. *Job Type:* Full-time *Schedule:* Day shift, with occasional overtime as needed. *How to Apply:* Please submit your *resume* and *cover letter* through Indeed.
