Prestige Prince George Lodge is looking for a permanent full-time Breakfast Cook. A Breakfast Cook oversees all aspects of the breakfast service including preparing food for guests, providing excellent customer service, and performing cleaning duties. The main tasks revolve around creating a variety of breakfast dishes, ensuring that they are cooked to order, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. *Key Responsibilities:* *1. Food Preparation*: * Prepare and cook breakfast items, such as eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, etc. * Ensure ingredients are ready and properly stored before the breakfast shift. *2. Cooking*: * Operate kitchen equipment like grills, fryers, ovens, and stovetops to prepare breakfast items. * Follow specific recipes, cooking techniques, and portion sizes to maintain consistency and quality. *3. Menu Knowledge*: * Be familiar with the breakfast menu and any special requests or dietary restrictions of guests (e.g., gluten-free, vegan, etc.). * Adjust cooking methods and ingredients to accommodate customer preferences. *4. Quality Control*: * Monitor the cooking process to ensure food is prepared to the correct temperature and quality. * Present dishes in an appealing manner, according to hotel standards. *5. Food Safety*: * Follow all safety and hygiene protocols to ensure food is cooked safely and served at the appropriate temperature. * Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following health and safety standards. * Regularly clean kitchen equipment, counters, and utensils. *6. Inventory Management*: * Check supplies and stock levels, ensuring adequate ingredients are available for the day?s shift. * Inform supervisors about low inventory and assist in restocking ingredients. *7. Team Collaboration*: * Work efficiently with other kitchen staff, such as servers, dishwashers, and other cooks, to ensure smooth kitchen operations during breakfast hours. * Communicate with the kitchen team to coordinate meal timing and special requests. *8.
