*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental team. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about dentistry and committed to enhancing the patient experience. *Responsibilities* * Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. * Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for various dental procedures. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic. * Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans. * Manage appointment scheduling and patient communications as a dental receptionist when necessary. * Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment. * Support orthodontic procedures and assist with pediatric dental care when required. *Experience* * Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred; however, candidates with relevant training will also be considered. * Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix is advantageous. * Knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology is a plus. * Experience in orthodontics or pediatrics is beneficial but not mandatory. * Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
