*Job Title:* Automotive Service Technician *Location:* Speedy Auto Service Victoria, British Columbia *Position Type:* Full-Time *Job Summary* As an Automotive Service Technician at Speedy Auto Service Victoria, you will assist in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles under the supervision of senior technicians. With a focus on learning and professional growth, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment while contributing to the team?s success. *Key Responsibilities* * Assistance in Diagnostics and Repairs: Work alongside senior technicians to diagnose vehicle issues and perform repairs on mechanical and electrical systems. * Routine Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections, ensuring vehicles are serviced efficiently and effectively. * Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers as needed to provide updates on service progress and explain basic vehicle issues and recommended services. * Documentation: Accurately complete work orders, documenting services performed, parts used, and any additional observations for customer records. * Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment, ensuring safety standards are met. * Continuous Learning: Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and stay updated with the latest automotive technology and practices. *Qualifications* * Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an automotive service role, with a solid understanding of vehicle systems and repairs.
