*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Receiver to join our warehouse team. The Receiver plays a crucial role in ensuring that incoming shipments are accurately processed and stored, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse procedures and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. *Duties* * Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists to ensure accuracy. * Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment to move products safely within the warehouse. * Record and enter data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for inventory tracking. * Manage the organization of received goods, ensuring proper storage locations are utilized. * Assist in the order fulfillment process by preparing items for shipment as needed. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the receiving area to promote safety and efficiency. * Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of all incoming packages. *Experience* * Previous experience in shipping and receiving within a warehouse environment is preferred. * Familiarity with e-commerce operations and order fulfillment processes is a plus. * Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems is beneficial. * Proficiency in using warehouse management systems for inventory control. * Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic setting. * Experience operating forklifts or reach trucks is required; certification may be necessary.
