<p>Under the supervision of the maintenance supervisor, the heavy vehicle mechanic will be responsible for performing general and preventive maintenance on the fleet of trucks and trailers.</p><p><b>The challenges that await you as a heavy vehicle mechanic</b></p><ul><li>Perform preventive maintenance on trucks according to the rules of the PEP program;</li><li>Maintain and repair starting, cooling, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, electronic systems as well as tires and wheels;</li><li>Use various diagnostic software effectively;</li><li>Identify repairs to be made and diagnose the situation;</li><li>Check, diagnose, repair and adjust clutches, manual and automatic transmissions, the braking system and the fuel and injection systems;</li><li>Ensure equipment compliance according to established rules ;</li><li>Perform all other tasks related to the job</li></ul><p><b>MV Express/VTL Express benefits</b></p><ul><li>Permanent position;</li><li>Group insurance after 3 months of continuous work;</li><li>Allowance for tools and reimbursement of safety boots;</li><li>Training regularly offered by the employer;</li><li>Competitive compensation;</li><li>Work clothes provided</li><li>Great team spirit;</li><li>Fast-growing company</li></ul><p><b>Hiring conditions</b></p><ul><li>Work schedule of 5 days / week for a total of 40 hours</li><li>DEP in heavy vehicle mechanics or relevant experience;</li><li>1 to 2 years of experience</li><li>Hold a PEP card (preventive maintenance program);</li><li>Very recent truck fleet</li></ul><p><b>Qualities sought</b></p><ul><li>Good organizational skills;</li><li>Be resourceful;</li><li>Have a good team spirit;</li><li>Have good priority management;</li><li>Be able to keep your work environment clean and safe</li></ul>- LocationPintendre, QC
