*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Powder Coater to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying powder coating to various metal components, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets industry standards. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. *Responsibilities* * Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, or masking as necessary. * Operate powder coating equipment and apply coatings evenly and consistently. * Monitor the curing process to ensure proper adhesion and finish quality. * Conduct inspections of coated products to identify defects and ensure compliance with specifications. * Maintain equipment and workspace in accordance with safety regulations and company policies. * Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. * Assist in the assembly of components as needed, utilizing hand tools and power tools. * Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste. *Qualifications* * Experience with machining processes is preferred. * Familiarity with crane operation and forklift driving is advantageous. * Basic math skills for measuring and mixing materials accurately. * Ability to fabricate parts as needed for production requirements. * Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus. * Welding experience is beneficial but not required. * Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. send resumes at jobs@istaffservices.ca Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * Dental care * Paid time off * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday Experience: * industrial painting: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
