<p><span>We are looking for an e-Commerce technical manager who will report to the DCX development engineering manager and be responsible for a team of e-commerce developers. In this position, you will be responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of BRP’s e-commerce front-end and back-end application, as well as coaching and leading the development team.</span></p> <p><b><span>YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:</span></b></p> <ul> <li><span>Assume responsibility for executing technical e-commerce projects and managing development teams (in-house and partners).</span></li> <li><span>Develop and maintain a customer-oriented digital e-commerce platform.</span></li> <li><span>Develop and maintain interfaces with other e-commerce systems (payment gateway, order processing platform, SAP, etc.).</span></li> <li><span>Collaborate with project managers, product managers, IT, BA and UX teams to continuously improve traffic acquisition, conversion and retention.</span></li> <li><span>Write unit and functional tests in automated test environments to guarantee code quality.</span></li> <li><span>Build functional prototypes of applications to demonstrate their value to stakeholders.</span></li> <li><span>Convert user stories into development tasks and provide accurate estimates.</span></li> <li><span>Participate in all aspects of the project lifecycle, including discovery, estimation, sprint planning, delivery and post-release support.</span></li> <li><span>Set deadlines for goals and objectives, and hold individuals and teams accountable for results.</span></li> </ul> <p><b><span>YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:</span></b></p> <ul> <li><span>At least 8 to 10 years of experience with e-commerce platforms is required.</span></li> <li><span>Experience with Magento and Magento Cloud CLI is required.</span></li> <li><span>Knowledge of the Adobe Experience Cloud and eCommerce stack.</span></li> <li><span>Solid experience in PHP and/or Java.</span></li> <li><span>Excellent knowledge of front-end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.</span></li> <li><span>Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React and Vue.</span></li> <li><span>Experience in API creation, consumption and design (Rest, GraphQL).</span></li> <li><span>Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, MariaDB and MongoDB.</span></li> <li><span>Excellent organizational and time management skills.</span></li> <li><span>Proven experience in prioritizing your own work.</span></li> <li><span>Good problem-solving skills.</span></li> <li><span>Meticulousness.</span></li> </ul> <p><strong></strong></p> <p><strong>ACKNOWLEDGING THE POWER OF DIVERSITY</strong><b></b></p> <p><span>BRP is dedicated to nurturing a culture that invites, connects, and propels the ambitions of people of all backgrounds, profiles, beliefs and experiences.
