*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with the ability to work on various types of heavy equipment and vehicles. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is committed to providing excellent service and ensuring the reliability of our fleet.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines and related systems, including fuel, exhaust, and electrical systems.
* Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections on heavy equipment and vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
* Utilize hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and specialized machinery to complete repairs efficiently.
* Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and cranes as needed for repairs or maintenance tasks.
* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues and develop effective solutions.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
* Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
* Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in diesel mechanics.
*Requirements*
* Speaks Punjabi
* Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role within automotive repair or heavy equipment operation.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and machinery relevant to diesel mechanics.
* Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose mechanical issues accurately.
* Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients about their vehicle needs.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in diesel mechanics or related fields are preferred.
