*Duties:*
· Determine and define the scope of work and deliverables
· Coordinate and manage multiple residential and commercial construction projects.
· Daily coordination of own forces (laborers, skilled trades, deliveries, etc.) and sub-contractors across multiple job sites.
· Provide overall supervision, coordination, sequencing, and scheduling of construction activities on the project construction site including health and safety.
· Review architectural and structural drawings to understand the client?s scope and needs.
· Review the architect?s/engineer?s drawings and coordinate them with the designer?s, supplier?s, and manufacturer?s specifications.
· Consult drawings, designs, and client instructions to develop construction plans for your team.
· Meet and communicate with architects, builders, and developers to coordinate and support projects to their successful completion.
· Support the estimating team with the management and coordination of projects using Custom Relationship Management and Project Management software tools.
· Keep projects on track by setting up project tasks and monitoring their execution.
· Preparing shop drawings, drafting material takeoffs, and placing orders with suppliers.
· Document all costs and ensure that expenses never exceed the construction budget.
· Creating P.O., RFI, and submittals for projects and deliverables.
· Update clients on construction progress through presentations and client meetings.
· Generate project status reports daily.
· Other duties as requested.
*Requirements:*
· Bachelor?s degree in building construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture
· Excellent knowledge of structural construction methods, the Ontario Building Code, systems, and materials.
· High-quality comprehension of architectural and structural construction drawings.
· Possess a strong technical aptitude and attention to detail.
· Proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel) and Bluebeam.
· 2+ years of experience in construction management.
· Must have previous experience managing projects on-site.
· Highly motivated with excellent organizational, time management, interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
· Proactive and have a positive mindset.
· Can adapt well to shifting priorities and schedules.
· Experience with Customer Relationship Management and Project Management software is an asset.
· Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
· Ability to implement and enforce health and safety policies and procedures across all jobs, teams, and company affiliates including vendors and sub-contractors.
· Knowledge about AutoCad, 3D Software, Revit .
· Valid Ontario Driver?s license.
