*The Company* Robertson Restoration is a highly established and reputable General Contracting company with over 50 years experience specializing in Historical Architectural Building Restoration. Located in Brantford, we operate across Ontario. Our company is poised for next level growth, and we are seeking an energetic and talented individual to grow along with us. *Project Manager ? General Contracting* · Oversee and manage all aspects of the Estimating and Pre?Construction processes including project lead qualification, estimate preparation, subcontractor solicitation, overall bid review, and bid submission. · Conduct thorough analysis of tender drawings and prepare detailed/accurate quantity takeoffs. · A solid understanding of trades scope and ability to separate drawings and technical specs into trade packages. · Ability to effectively manage priorities and competing deadlines. · Oversee construction tenders and negotiations. · Plan, start up, and manage projects to ensure they meet company goals for safety, quality, budget, schedule, and profitability. · Read, interpret, and understand contract drawings, specifications, and bid documents, and maintain conformance with same during construction work processes. · Create, monitor, and report on project schedules, costs, margins, and profitability. · Manage all project documentation including permits and site notifications, pricing approvals, RFI?s, Changes, and PO?s. · Lead project meetings and maintain minutes and related project communication records. · Arrange for final inspections, Building Occupancy Permit, and Notice of Substantial Performance. · Build strong relationships with sub-trades, client stakeholders, and consultants. *Desired Experience & Skills* · Post Secondary Degree / Diploma in construction related discipline. · in a General Contracting or Historical Architectural Building Restoration setting. · Proficiency with MS Project and Microsoft Suite of software applications.
